Furry Reality

This month, and only for this blog entry, we gifted each other an adjective to use with our “word”.  The adjective I was given was “furry.”

Furry reality tickles us.  Caresses.  Furry reality makes us smile.  It is the wag of the dog’s clever tail greeting us.  Furry reality is the vain cat sitting in the window threatening squirrels and little birds.  It is the rabbit gnawing at carrots in the garden.  Furry reality invites touch.

Furry reality is the hunt.  It is the rug, the pelt, of the zebra, or tiger, or other wild animal, that rests under one’s feet in a castle of a distant past.  It is the blind look of a deer’s head adorning a cabin wall.  It is red, bloody, painful.

Furry reality is the plains of Africa visited by a dear friend.  It is the wise and thoughtful elephant with its hair like a broom.  It is the arrogant lion crowned by his golden mane.  It is the hysterical hyena laughing with sarcasm and slimy terror.  It is the giraffe that looks at us from the sky and the antelope that entertains us with astonishing acrobatics and its own disappearing act in the high grasses that grace the savannah.

Furry reality is a kiss from a bearded loved one.  It is prickly love gifted with a tickle.

  1. I like the idea of giving adjectives. almost always comes of it something interesting. Furry … I really like this word. it is soft, warm, gives pleasant feelings. I immediately remembered the rhyme of the series big bang theory.

    Soft kitty,
    Warm kitty,
    Little ball of fur.
    Happy kitty,
    Sleepy kitty,
    Purr Purr Purr…

It’s a rhyme that Sheldon requires when he is sick. Something furry is comforting. It gives a sense of security. And that’s why I love my furry socks. But when you say furry, I imagine in the first way furry animal. There is nothing better than a hug from furry animal. On the face you feel his fur. There is nothing more soothing. I love furry reality.

    1. I had fun thinking about this post. My children received a kitten for Christmas and he, the kitten, has been part of our very silly, playful, whimsical furry reality since. Thank you for your post!

  2. Furry reality
I will write a few words for this topic. Author wrote very interesting article. The article is full of simile. Author was using very good vocabulary. Unfortunately, that author didn’t write about him. He wrote about generally «furry reality». But, what is furry reality for him?
Furry reality is everyday for me. Every day that I live to the fullest. Every day, when nothing is stressing me, and I can indulge what I like.
I understand this topic as something what describes emotions, feelings or things what we like or are pleasant for us. It is evidence that we all have heart. World around us is not indifferent for us. If it were not, life would be meaningless. This applies to all creatures on the earth. All creatures have emotions and feelings. They perceive the world around them.
I like this article. I chose it because I can write about a lot of things. I don’t like when I have to write about specific one thing.
The most beautiful thing in the world for me is when I hug a person which I like as he me.
