Yo elegí el cuadro por las emociones contradictorias por Lucifer, y por como Cabanell elijo representar a él. No es villano, sino un héroe caído. La emoción no refleja el odio y el enfado, Lucifer está triste.
I chose this piece because of the conflicting emotions revolving around Lucifer, and how Cabanell chose to portray him as not a villain, but a fallen hero. The emotion does not reflect hatred or anger, but sadness.
