Painting by Jean-Pierre Cassigneul https://aubtu.biz/58522/ #15

I saw another woman recreate this and remembered my sister just bought a graduation dress similar to the one in the painting. I also liked the paleness of the woman’s skin and her makeup.
I made the roses out of red tissue paper and green cardstock. The pearl necklace was made out of my dad’s phone charger and tiny balls made of toilet paper. The black background was made from old cardboard dividers me and my sister used during covid. It is not a perfect recreation, but I am proud of the way it turned out.
Something I learned about myself this year is that I work well with others. Having other people depend on me motivates me to perform better. I am going to keep this in mind next year.
I would also like to give a shoutout to Mr. Goldman for encouraging me to work harder and be the best version of myself.
So clever! The effort you put into making the roses and your «pearl» necklace with items from around your home is fantastic! Absolutely brilliant! Well done, Mia!
